    Elevate Your Cinematography Easily

As you storyboard, you may start planning elaborate shot setups that go beyond the budget. If you dream of filming a scene that involves placing the camera at a high level while looking down at your subject or placing the camera at a low angle to achieve a specific mood, a camera crane or jib is needed. For most indie filmmakers, it's not possible to get access to this type of pricey equipment. The good news is that BorrowLenses offers affordable video equipment that can help make these shots possible. When you rent video cranes and jibs, you get exactly what you need from your camera.

Bring Your Vision to New Heights

Filmmakers have been using jibs since the beginning of the movie industry. Jibs typically attach to your tripod and give cinematographers extra height to the camera. When the camera is attached to the jib, it can swing up and down and cover higher ground. Then, you can start planning intricate scenes that use the quintessential high angle shot. This can help give the audience a more complete look at your setting or create vulnerability with the characters. The Kessler Pocket Jib Traveler is an easy way to achieve this look.

    Get the Effect You Want

Camera jibs and cranes are also useful when planning the low angle shot, which has your jib swing to floor level. This helps position your characters in a more powerful light, giving strength and stability to the scene. Although you may be tempted to try a low angle shot handheld, it's nearly impossible to get the same quality and coverage without the use of a jib and quality tripod for this purpose.

Help your narrative or documentary film develop more dynamic characterizations by using camera jibs or cranes in your process. With BorrowLenses, you can finally be able to use this type of equipment in your storytelling.
