Lighting is essential in order to see the action that is taking place in any video. There are many different ways to incorporate lights into a scene. There may be parts where you need flashing lights or other type of light movement. However, in scenes with dialogue or where there is no need for the lights to be going on and off, you need a continuous light source. You can easily rent continuous lighting for video with the professional options available at BorrowLenses.

    Why Continuous Lighting?

Continuous lighting is exactly how it sounds: It is a constant source of light. It is used to illuminate a subject or model. Many people use continuous lighting in photography, but it is just as useful if not more so in videography. With careful staging of stands and the right light panels, Fresnel lights, ring lights, or any other light source, you can light your scene and not need to do any extra work until filming for that particular segment wraps up.

Continuous lighting is also versatile. You can easily adjust the lighting to suit your desired luminescence. Diffusers, for example, can assist in softening the light so that the shadows created on and around the subject are not quite as harsh. Reflectors are a great option to reduce shadows and capture more detail in the scene. There are even attachments made specifically for Fresnel lights to adjust it to your needs.
