A new special coating greatly reduces ghosting and lens flare while the Distagon-type design ensures maximum quality and sharpness, especially when using a very wide aperture on a high-megapixel camera. Note that this is a manual focus only lens that sports a comfortable rubberized ring for precision control over your focus. manual focusing is further benefited by engraved focusing and depth of field scales, along with an IR position dot for those using modified cameras. There are hard stops at both infinity and minimum focusing positions. The minimum focusing distance is a close 9.92".

This lens is made of anodized metal and is weather resistant with a sealing ring at the mount great for using with a weather-resistant camera.
