Overview
The Zacuto VCT Pro Universal Baseplate Kit is a comfortable and low-profile shoulder pad and v-wedge tripod connector system. Thanks to 1/4"-20 or 3/8"-16 threads, you can directly connect it to your tripod quick release plate. The lightweight, adjustable rod mount is set back in the plate, providing room for accessories under the camera lens and keeps the balance point right over your shoulder. The included tripod plate can adapt a standard video tripod head to accommodate VCT-14 plates. For further customization of your rod placement, 2 rod extenders are included. This kit allows you to slide your camera back further than with most rigs, eliminating the need for counterweight for a more ENG feel. The shoulder pad is made of a comfortable gel polymer, making this kit ideal for very long shoots.
