The Tokina Vista 85mm T1.5 PL Mount is a cinema prime for PL mount shooters that features a 46.7mm image circle that exceeds the needs of the typical full frame sensor, making this lens compatible with future releases and advances. It is designed specifically for sharp imagery up to 8K and is compatible with RED's VistaVision format. It shares the same form factor, lens gear position, focus rotation, and front barrel diameter as the other Tokina Cinema Vista prime lenses, which makes on-set lens changes fast and efficient. The barrel features approximately 300° of rotation from close focus to infinity, providing you with a high degree of precision when pulling focus. Its design also minimizes focus breathing. The 112mm screw-on filter thread on the front of the lens gives you the option to use round filters instead of filling the filter carriage of your matte box. This lens sports a durable, all-metal housing and is ideal for documentary and narrative filmmaking.
