Overview

The Teradek Cube 255 HDMI Encoder sends 1080p HD video and encoded audio from a camera to the web in real time. It mounts right on top of a camera or rig via 1/4"-20 and is connected to your gear via HDMI. The internal battery charges over USB and lasts around 2 hours. Use the AC adapter for continuous power. This device will stream via WiFi, ethernet, or with a 3G/4G modem. A handy OLED screen tells you battery life, online status, and the URL being streamed to. The Teradek Cube is ideal for showing real-time project progress by taking footage from your camera and streaming proxy files either to your decoder or a website while at the same time recording to a microSD card (not included) up to 32GB. This is a great tool for remote clients and for recording/streaming live events, ceremonies, school announcements, and performances.
