The Sony FE 2x Teleconverter is placed between the back of certain Sony E mount lenses and E mount cameras. The effective focal length is increased by 2x (doubled). It is supported by both full frame and crop frame sensor E mount camera bodies. Teleconverters are useful for shooting sports, wildlife, and other stadium events to give your lens more effective reach. This teleconverter is officially compatible with (though may not be limited to) the following lenses:
