The Sigma 105mm f/1.4 Art EF Mount is a part of Sigma's esteemed Art collection. Art lenses are designed to achieve optical performance that is suited specifically for creative and artistic applications. This "bokeh master" is the first in the Sigma Art line (at the time of this writing) to offer a maximum aperture of f/1.4 in a lens this long (a close second being the celebrated Sigma 85mm f/1.4 Art lens).

Featuring a large 105mm-diameter front element to improve peripheral illumination and an integrated Hyper Sonic Motor for quick and quiet autofocusing, the Sigma 105mm f/1.4 Art is ideal for photographers and videographers alike. A specialized electromagnetic aperture mechanism gives better exposure control stability that is needed when using very fast continuous shooting rates. An optimized AF algorithm produces smoother focusing performance overall and a removable, rotating collar provides extra support both in the studio and out in the field. This lens is recommended for portraits, fine art, still life, sports, and wildlife.
