The Sennheiser HD 650 Headphones are over-the-ear style, acoustic design, open-back reference headphones with a 1/4" connector and a 1/8" adapter. These are very high impedance headphones at 300 Ohms, so they require relatively powerful amplification to get the full benefit and aren't recommended, generally speaking, for use with things like smartphones. They will certainly work with mobile devices, it's just not what the headphones are designed for. These do not have noise isolation, so you're able to still pick up the ambient noise around you while monitoring and others can hear what you are listening to.
