The Rode VideoMic GO Microphone is a simple plug-in-and-go directional shotgun mic that is powered off your camera (only a 2.5V draw from your camera's 3.5mm input jack). It is a great choice for interviewing subjects up to 6' away. It is equipped with an integrated Rycote Lyre shockmount to fully isolate the mic from vibration and has an integrated shoe mount with a 3/8 thread for additional mounting options. The included DeadCat GO protects against drafts and wind noise. This mic is ideal for weight-sensitive rigs and for mobility at events.

  • This microphone is battery-free and uses the plug-in power from your camera's 3.5mm microphone input. It will not work with cameras without plug-in power for their input jacks.
