Overview

The Rode RodeLink Wireless Filmmaker Kit provides everything you need to start shooting with wireless audio, including a receiver, transmitter, and broadcast-grade lavalier microphone. To operate, simply choose your channel to pair the receiver and transmitter. Using a Series II 2.4GHz digital transmission with 128-bit encryption, the RodeLink Wireless Filmmaker Kit is able to constantly monitor and hop between frequencies to maintain the strongest possible signal level. The omnidirectional microphone can be clipped onto your subject and the audio sent to the RX-CAM receiver via the TX-BELT transmitter. It picks up frequencies from 60 Hz-18 kHz, so whether your subject's voice is high or deep the audio will be recorded with broadcast quality. The mic connects to the transmitter via a 3.5mm TRS socket (dual mono output see Specs tab for more info) with a locking thread for added connection security. The discreet, internal antenna sends signal to the receiver up to 328' away (in ideal conditions, see our Notes tab for more). Your subject can easily hide the transmitter under their clothing or comfortably carry it on a belt. The receiver (which has a 3.5mm TRS locking jack socket) sends audio directly to your camera or recording device (external recording devices are rentable separately). It can be conveniently attached to your camera's hot shoe and it features 3 level positions so that you can easily adjust the signal level going into your camera/recorder. If you'd like to use this lav kit with an XLR cable, a Rode VXLR Mono Mini-Jack (3.5mm) to XLR Converter is provided. Both the transmitter and receiver are powered for up to 10 hours with AA batteries or continuously via Micro-usb with the battery pack of your choice (batteries not included).
