The RED KOMODO 6K camera is a unique release from RED that incorporates their legendary image quality into a form factor that is more all-in-one and portable than prior models. Here are the standout features of this 6K professional system:

  • 19.9MP Super 35mm global shutter sensor for crisp footage without motion artifacts up to 6K.
  • Robust REDCODE RAW format as well as Apple ProRes proxy files.
  • Built-in 2.9" 1440 x 1440 touchscreen LCD for video preview and camera control.
  • CFast 2.0-compatible slot for easy recording.
  • Powered by up to 2 lightweight Canon BP-9 batteries (comes with 1 BP-975 battery).
  • Passive Canon RF mount for using the latest Canon glass. An EF-to-RF adapter is included for using EF cinema lenses.
  • 3.5mm audio input for easy mic connection.

This is RED's most approachable, ready-to-shoot brain yet. Most notably, the global shutter sensor allows you to capture every moment without sacrificing dynamic range. Avoid blurred and curved lines with even the fastest moving subjects. The form factor is extremely versatile at only 4" and 2 lbs you can run-and-gun easily with one of the most powerful camera systems on the market today. With a touch-to-focus screen, compatibility with Phase-Detect AF (on some lenses), and flexible raw options up to 6K, the RED KOMODO 6K camera is ideal for any project demanding the highest quality.

  • This rental comes with (1) Canon BP-975 battery but it will also accept BP-955 batteries.
