The Nikon D5300 Digital SLR camera offers movie recording in 1080p up to 60 FPS with full-time continuous focusing capabilities. The lack of an optical low-pass filter means sharper images coming from the sensor. Under normal shooting circumstances, the optical low-pass filter prevents the instance of moire patterns from showing up in your images of tight-patterned objects, such as fabrics. The benefit of removing these anti-aliasing properties for the D5300 is maximum sharpness for RAW files, optimized for landscape or simply extreme detail-style shooting.

Control full-time continuous AF, menus, and settings directly from the 3.2" touchscreen monitor and also enjoy professional-quality audio thanks to a microphone port for easy external mic connection (external microphones rentable separately).
