Overview

The Mevo Live Event camera is a combination camera, live streaming platform, and video switcher all inside a tiny form factor with a 4K sensor and a 150°, 3mm f/2.8 glass lens. It supports 9 virtual camera angles at 720p with each angle controllable via the Mevo app. You also have a choice of viewing angles, including "narrow" and "fisheye". This unobtrusive camera sports a built-in stereo mic and speaker, an audio jack for external mics, is weatherproof (with Boost, included), writes to microSD, and can stream directly to Livestream, Facebook Live, Periscope, and Twitter. Use the Ethernet port or plug in a 4G LTE modem for reliable streaming performance. Depending on the platform, you can stream up to 1080p live.

Attach the camera to a microphone stand or tripod via the 1/4"-20 adapter or remove the camera completely from its chassis, where it can be placed on a table it features a unique up-tilting natural position so that surfaces don't dominate your frame. The internal battery lasts for up to an hour for longer events, a 10' usb power cable will run the Mevo continuously. Fortunately, this rental also includes the battery Boost unit, which will provide you with up to 10 hours of battery power thanks to its 12,000mAh capacity. When using your Mevo with the Boost, a usb A port is available to you for charging accessories. Convenient LEDs keep you informed on battery life, WiFi connection, and other important data. The Mevo is ideal for vloggers, performers, sports, presentations, and ceremonies.

  • The Micro USB port on the Mevo camera is only for charging it is not able to output a video signal. Mevo does not have an HDMI or SDI port.
  • 4K recording requires a microSD card that is UHS Speed Class 3 (U3) or higher.
  • The Mevo app is required to use the Mevo camera. The camera will not record, stream, or live edit without connecting to the app via Hotspot mode or a local WiFi network. Via the app, you can change the settings so that you can record with just the Mevo. The camera can generate its own network (access point) and stream via a mobile LTE connection.
