Overview

The Manfrotto 290 Xtra Tripod/MH804 Head Kit is a simple 3-section tripod equipped with a 3-way pan-and-tilt head that can be rotated 360°, tilted 90° forward and sideways, and tilted 30° up. These movements are independent, lockable, and controlled via two handles. Dedicated angle scales allow for exacting results. There is a center column but it does not rotate laterally. The legs can be spread independently and use flop locks. This is a good setup for basic photo work, including panoramas.
