The GoPro HERO8 Black camera offers the best of prior GoPro models, including a 12MP low-light sensitive sensor, 4K up to 60 FPS with 1080p up to 240 FPS, Protune, and built-in waterproofing. The HERO8 improves on these specs by perfecting advanced features. Here are the new multimedia-friendly tools and enhancements offered in GoPro's latest flagship camera: HyperSmooth Video Enjoy gimbal-like stabilization built right into the camera with a radically-enhanced HyperSmooth 2.0, which now has multiple levels of stabilization to predict your movements. It compensates for camera shake and offers in-app horizon leveling for smooth, professional-looking video. Additionally, the body of the camera itself has built-in mounting. Digital Lenses You now have the option of four different lenses, accessible with a simple tap on the screen: Narrow (27mm), Linear (19-39mm), Wide (16-34mm), and SuperView (16mm). TimeWarp 2.0 Enjoy the same TimeWarp effect you love but now enjoy it with automatic speed selection. Opt to speed up/slow down footage with a simple tap. Stop shooting in TimeWarp and go immediately to real-time recording and back again. LiveBurst Mode Capture a fast series of shots in a 3-second video (up to 90 images) and go through your sequence frame-by-frame to grab the perfect shot. Enhanced Audio The prior model, the GoPro HERO7, offered much-needed improvements to the built-in microphone.
