Overview
The Nikon en-el15a battery is compatible with all Nikon cameras and grips that accept en-el15 but please note that newer camera models may drain older en-el15 battery models much more quickly vs en-el15b, en-el15c, etc. This older model also provides no FPS boost like some of the newer en-el15b/c models do. This older model also doesn't accommodate usb charging while in the camera. It requires the MH-25/25a charger (charger is not included) and takes approximately 2.5 hours to fully charge. This battery is compatible with, but not limited to, the following cameras:
