Overview

The Canon CN-E KAS S 70-200mm T4.4 combines the relative portability of standard Canon lenses with the advanced cinema performance of the CN-E line. It is designed specifically for Canon's cinema cameras, like the C100, C200, C300, C500, and C700 lines but will also mount to any Super 35 or APS-C EF mount camera (but with limited functionality). This lens is powered via the mount when paired with an EF mount Canon cinema camera and features enhanced continuous AF, chromatic aberration correction, and image stabilization. It is equipped with a servo drive unit that is compatible with industry-standard lens controllers for full zoom, focus, and iris control. It also features standard 0.8 module gearing with a rubberized grip for comfortable manual operation with a follow focus unit (follow focus not included). With minimized "breathing", 180° focus rotation, and a parfocal design to maintain focus while zooming, the Canon CN-E KAS S 70-200mm T4.4 is ideal for video productions large and small.

Rental Notes

Autofocus works only with Canon digital cinema cameras and isn't guaranteed to work on other EF mount systems.
The Compact Servo Zoom Drive Unit is not the same thing as the ZSG-C10 Zoom Servo Grip. The servo control built into the lens is compatible with the ZSG-C10, which is not included. The built-in unit offers small-button zoom controllers (as opposed to the ZSG-C10's rocker switch), speed control/zoom switches, and HRS/DC connections.
