The Canon EF-S 18-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS Nano USM Lens is a versatile zoom with Nano USM technology, which combines a fast Ultrasonic Motor with a smooth, silent video-optimized stepping motor. The dual-purpose AF motor provides quicker performance for both photographers and videographers. It focuses about 4.3x faster at the telephoto end and 2.5x faster at the wide end vs prior models.

Also benefiting both still and video shooters is an Image Stabilization system that compensates for up to four stops of camera shake for sharper results when shooting slower shutter speeds in low light. Dynamic IS deploys when shooting video for improved image quality even when in motion. This lens is compatible with the PZ-E1 Power Zoom Adapter (not included) for much steadier zoom speeds when shooting action, wildlife, and video. It also is fully compatible with cameras equipped with Dual Pixel CMOS AF technology (please note that this is an EF-S mount lens and is designed to only be paired with crop sensor cameras).
