Pocket Wizard MiniTT1 Radio Slave Transmitter for Nikon i-TTL
The Pocket Wizard MiniTT1 Radio Slave Transmitter for Nikon i-TTL is a small trigger that connects to your Nikon camera's hot shoe. When paired with a FlexTT5 i-TTL Transceiver for Nikon, you can trigger off-camera flashes and strobes while still using Nikon's dedicated through-the-lens metering system for proper light and setting exposures in constantly-changing conditions. If you want to control your off-camera flash settings and exposures using your on-camera flash, simply slide the MiniTT1 onto your camera's hot shoe and then slide your master flash onto the additional hot shoe that is on the top of the MiniTT1. You may do the same thing with a Nikon remote to control power levels, such as the SU 800 or control strobe settings with the help of the Pocket Wizard AC3 ZoneController for Nikon, which is not required for triggering but is nice for easy output adjustments right from your camera (AC3 units rentable separately). Also featured is an Optimized High Speed Sync mode and Optimized Rear Curtain Sync. Note that this Pocket Wizard has no ports except USB for firmware upgrades. It transmits only and to use it, it must be connected to a hot shoe. To use on your camera, slide this Pocket Wizard onto your camera's hot shoe. To trigger an off-camera flash or strobe, you must also rent a Pocket Wizard FlexTT5 for Nikon. You may also pair the MiniTT1 with a Plus X, Plus II, or Plus III Pocket Wizard but some features may not work correctly, such as TTL shooting and high speed sync. Experiment at your own risk.
