The Ikan EC1 Beholder 3-Axis Handheld Gimbal Stabilizer is designed for both DSLR and mirrorless systems between 2-4.5 lbs. It offers 360º rotation along yaw, pitch, and roll axes and features a grip joystick for easy tilt and pan adjustments. Ikan has incorporated slip-ring technology into this gimbal and removed rotation blockers to prevent wire twisting. There are 4 operating modes on this gimbal that can be selected with simple successive button clicks: all lock, pan, pitch, and follow (which includes auto-inversion that can be achieved by flipping the grip over your camera). The point-and-lock feature allows you to hand-set any position you desire and lock to that position automatically. Take the camera with one hand and hold it in the desired position for 2 seconds. The system will automatically save the desired angle and it will stay that way until you reset it. An OLED display will tell you what mode you're in and how much battery life you have left (batteries are stored in the grip and will last approximately 8-10 hours of continuous shooting). This gimbal is shipped ready-to-use and doesn't require software changes to get started. Please see the very detailed and helpful videos below from Ikan to get set up with your camera and lens. This gimbal is ideal for pros and beginners alike who are looking for a single handheld stabilizer for smaller-to-medium-sized cameras and lenses.
