The Sony XDCA-FX9 V-Mount Extension Unit attaches to the back of the Sony PXW-FX9 XDCAM 6K Full Frame Camera via a MultiPin connector and, when paired with V-mount batteries (not included, gold mount battery compatible when using included QRC-4K-S Adapter Plate), extends your shooting time while also offsetting the weight of larger lenses. In a future firmware, adding this extension unit to the FX9 will expand external recording to 16-bit RAW. It has built-in networking capabilities for streaming and file transfer via Wireless LAN with Dual Link capability for live streaming and file transfer, enhancing ENG workflows. It also adds a wireless audio receiver slot that's compatible with DWX and URX series receivers (not included, see Notes).
