The Sony E PZ 18-110mm f/4 G OSS Lens is a very portable and lightweight option with a wide zoom range for maximum flexibility. The relatively fast maximum aperture across that entire range, along with Optical Imaging Stabilization, makes this lens suitable for most low-light situations. It is compatible with Sony E mount cameras with crop frame sensors or full frame E mount (FE) Sony cameras in crop frame mode. Full frame shooting is not recommended with this lens as you may experience vignetting. The focal length equivalent in 35mm terms is 27-165mm. Built with videographers in mind, this lens sports Smooth Motion Optics to minimize focus breathing and focus shifting when adjusting the lens during recording and Sony has improved their silent hybrid mechanical and fly-by-wire focus system. The body of the lens has separate focus, zoom, and iris rings for complete manual control and iris operation can be done automatically or by rotating the iris ring. By disengaging the iris click switch, manual iris adjustments can be made smoothly. This lens is good for APS-C/Super 35 E mount camera shooters for any video project, large or small, but is especially ideal for run-and-gun style filmmaking and production. This lens will mount to full frame E mount (FE) cameras, like the Sony a7 series, but the camera will need to be in crop mode.
