The Panasonic Lumix DMC-GH3 Mirrorless Micro 4/3 Digital Camera is a powerful hybrid that can shoot stills up to 4608 x 3456 in resolution plus 1920 x 1080 60p Full HD video recording. An HDMI output enables external recording with simultaneous recording to the SD card (rentable separately) while external mic and headphone jacks provide ultimate control over quality. The GH3 features a special heat-dispersing design for prolonged use and the battery maintains power for up to 540 images. The sensor produces smooth gradation from shadows to highlights with clean images even in dim light. The sensor also doubles as the AF sensor, which is contrast-based to allow for precise focusing even at small f/stops. Any place you touch on the rear LCD monitor while in Live View acts as a focus point for both video and still shooting. This camera is ideal for robust and versatile videography and photography and it particularly well suited for events.
