The Nikon 135mm f/2D AF DC Lens is a medium telephoto prime with an innovative Defocus Image Control ring that allows you to creates smoother out-of-focus areas in either the foreground or background of your image. This selective, accentuated background/foreground blurring makes your subject stand out, making it an ideal portrait lens.

NOTES

• Autofocus is not supported by DSLRs lacking an autofocus motor. Please see this guide for more on compatibility.

• Defocus Control should always be performed before focusing. If you rotate the Defocus Control ring after focusing, or during focus lock in autofocus photography, your subject will be out of focus. With the Defocus Control ring at either F (front) or R (rear), the distance scale may not show the correct distance. Defocus Control's image blur cannot be verified through your camera's viewfinder. Be sure to take a series of shots with the Defocus Control ring at various settings.
