The Fuji X-H1 Mirrorless Digital Camera delivers an extremely fast processing engine for overall speed increases in autofocusing, continuous shooting, and interval shooting over previous X-series models. Notably, it is the first in the X-series lineup to offer 5-axis in-body image stabilization and a special flicker reduction mode for indoor sports shooting. Further enhancing wildlife and sports applications are the three user-adjustable focusing parameters for AF-C mode, including special modes for accelerating objects or for ignoring obstacles. A tactile focus joystick allows you to change your focus point swiftly with your choice of among 325 points. Intuitively move the focus point while maintaining contact with the viewfinder or simply use the touchscreen on the tilting LCD. Other physical advantages include a 25% thicker frame and a revised mount structure that better resists shock or impact while the entire body is dust and moisture resistant. To maximize the performance of the built-in stabilization, the X-H1's shutter unit has been redesigned for better shock absorption to reduce camera shake. It also keeps the shutter naturally very quiet, which is ideal for events. The body is designed with a "deep grip", which allows the hand to sit more ergonomically on the camera and creates a more natural position for the shutter finger – which pairs nicely with the new feather-touch style shutter button. Other physical improvements include a viewfinder that's 1.6x brighter than previous models and the eye sensor response is 2x faster. Like the
Fuji GFX 50S Medium Format Camera, the X-H1 is equipped with a top plate LCD monitor that displays main settings as well as detailed exposure information.
For videographers, the X-H1 can shoot DCI 4K at 24p at 200Mbps for up to 15 minutes (30 minutes with the optional Fuji X-H1 Vertical Power Booster Battery Grip, which is not included). High-speed video recording is possible up to 120 FPS. The X-H1 supports the digital cinema 17:9 aspect ratio and you can also enjoy recording at ISOs as high as 25600. The high dynamic range F-Log gamma profile is available for both internal recording and for uncompressed output to an external recorder, giving excellent color grading flexibility in post production (HDMI out is supported with an 8-bit 4:2:2 signal). New for Fuji is a film simulation LUT called ETERNA, which simulates the output of traditional cinematic film with desaturated colors and rich shadow tones. Fuji's other 15 famed film simulations are intact, including ACROS, Classic Chrome, and Velvia. You can apply Fuji's film simulation effects to both your stills and your recorded footage. The Fuji X-H1 Mirrorless Digital Camera is a powerful, versatile, robust, and fast multimedia tool that's a great choice for not only personal creative projects but also for professional events and assignments.
