Overview

The DJI Ronin-SC offers a lot of the same functionality as the Ronin-S but in a smaller form factor designed specifically for mirrorless camera systems up to 4.85 lbs.

Like the prior models, this is a modular system. The gimbal and grip are detachable, making storage and travel very easy. The Ronin-SC is equipped with DJI's innovative design where your camera is elevated above the roll axis so that your Lcd screen is never obstructed. The simple layout of this gimbal makes it easy for even beginners to set up and start running quickly. There is a joystick for precise control, as well as a re-center front trigger button to bring the gimbal back to a default position. Press and hold the M button to enter Sport Mode, which performs fast tracking when recording action.

Control the Ronin-SC directly with your smartphone using DJI's new Force Mobile app. Using the its built-in gyroscope, you can tilt and rotate your phone to control the gimbal with little-to-no latency. The included smartphone holder allows you to easily mount your phone on your camera and use it as a monitor while operating the gimbal. Track your subject without having to use any controls with the help of the recently-updated ActiveTrack 3.0 function. Launch the Ronin app, select ActiveTrack, and the Ronin-SC will automatically recognize human subjects and track objects. The Ronin app has also been revamped, with a refined layout that offers quicker access to presets, better tutorials, and a robust camera balancing guide.

A long-lasting battery is built right into the grip and charged using a convenient USB-C cable. Every control on the unit is easily reachable and the grip is flared for comfort. With panning, tilting, and roll ranges that rival much larger systems, the DJI Ronin-SC Handheld Gimbal Stabilizer is the perfect tool for single-handed operation of mirrorless systems. It is ideal for documentaries, events, vlogging, and travel.
