Overview

The Atomos Sumo 19 is a highly adaptable and very large monitor/record/switcher. Here are some of the most important features of this professional system:

  • ProRes Raw support up to 6K30p, 4K60p (DCI/UHD), and 2Kp60 (DCI/HD), plus CinemaDNG support up to DCI 4Kp30.
  • Large-format quad view live switching and recording record up to four 1080p60 streams simultaneously.
  • Capture over HDMI or SDI up to 10-bit 4:2:2 in ProRes or DNxHR at 4Kp60 or 2Kp240, depending on the camera.
  • Dual full sized XLR connections with 48V Phantom power to connect two microphones with balanced analogue audio recording and monitoring.
  • Convert between HDMI 2.0 and SDI (Quad 3G/6G/12G) in any combination.
  • Bright 10-bit LCD screen supported by the AtomHDR engine to precisely map log, PQ, or HLG video feeds from cameras, game consoles, or TVs to resolve 10 stops of HDR in real time.
  • Stores to widely available 2.5" drives (SSDs not included).
  • Dual 4-pin XLR inputs for power and automatic switching should one source stop working. Dual gold mount battery mounts are provided (batteries not included).
