Important Things to Consider

• Your rental begins when the first delivery attempt is made. If you do not think you’ll be available for home delivery, please contact us to arrange for delivery to another location.

• Your rental must be returned to its pick up location or postmarked by your shipper before the same day cut-off time. Contact the location you’ll be bringing the return package to in advance to find out what the same day cut-off time is. Remember, local pickup spots and ship centers have varied hours!

• For your security, get a receipt from whoever you are dropping your gear off with for return.

Has there been an emergency? We understand. Please communicate your issue with us as soon as humanly possible so that we may properly address your needs with regards to your order. We are available by email, live chat, and by telephone during standard business hours.

What is Same Day Delivery?
Same Day Delivery is an exciting new service for our Bay Area customers. Partnering with FedEx’s special SameDay City service, your rental is prepared lightning fast and sent directly to you within 3-hour, selectable shipping windows. Get your gear the very same day or customize a future rental to your exact shooting schedule with a pre-set delivery window.


With Same Day Delivery, there’s no need to drive to a shop or wait all day for a shipping truck.


Is this service available in my area?

Same Day Delivery is a beta service being offered to customers in the SF Bay Area only. See if your address is eligible for delivery by selecting Same Day Shipping at checkout and entering your zip code.

The delivery window I was looking for is not there?

Just like all our regular rentals, every Same Day Delivery order is individually reviewed and your gear is inspected, cleaned, and packaged up to be ready to use as soon as it arrives. This means we have cutoff windows in advance of delivery to be sure your order heads out on time.


Is there a way to track the delivery of my order?

FedEx provides updates through their website at https://www.fedexsameday.com and even more status information through their special SameDay City mobile app. As soon as your rental ships, we’ll send out a tracking number which you can use to get updates as your gear makes its way to you.

Why do you keep telling me that I should have my phone handy?

Same Day Delivery goes fast, like real fast! In order to fulfill and process your rental, we may need to reach out to you so we suggest being available to take a call just in case we need any additional information to verify your details or confirm anything on your rental. Additionally, once we hand the package off to FedEx their drivers may reach out to you in order to connect when they arrive with your package.


Do you require a signature?

Yup, a signature is always required on all packages for everyone’s safety.


Can I make any changes to the order once it is placed?

Yes, BUT -- this will likely cause a delay in the process and shift your delivery to a later arrival. Please call us immediately for any changes to ensure we can handle them before your gear ships. That being said if your delivery window is in the next 90 minutes we cannot make any changes. However, we’d be happy to help you place an additional order.


I really like knowing my delivery window. Can I place an order for Same Day delivery for a future date?

Absolutely! You can plan your order as far in advance as you like with Same Day Delivery, select a shipping window and know your gear will get there just as you need it. Look for the option during checkout after selecting your rental dates.


If I miss my delivery what are my options?

CALL US IMMEDIATELY! Same Day Delivery drivers are constantly on the move and most often will not be able to reattempt the delivery again that day. However, there are a few options available and we may be able to redirect the package or schedule redelivery for the next business day.


How will I return my rental to you?

Just like with our normal shipped rentals, you’ll find a return label inside your order. All you need to do is cover up the old label with the new one, and drop off the package at you local FedEx Store. Be sure to grab a receipt form them when dropping off. You are also welcome to drop off the package on your due date to our San Carlos office.


I just found out that I no longer need the gear can I cancel the order?

Reach out to us as soon as you can; as long as the rental has not been delivered we can cancel the order. The order will be subjected to the cancelation fee.
