When your due date arrives, just use your prepaid label and the box your order came in to ship it back to us.
Important Things to Consider

• Your rental begins when the first delivery attempt is made. If you do not think you’ll be available for home delivery, please contact us to arrange for delivery to another location.

• Your rental must be returned to its pick up location or postmarked by your shipper before the same day cut-off time. Contact the location you’ll be bringing the return package to in advance to find out what the same day cut-off time is. Remember, local pickup spots and ship centers have varied hours!

• For your security, get a receipt from whoever you are dropping your gear off with for return.

How Not to Return Your Order
We advise our customers to never schedule home pick-ups through the courier, return to hotel, workplace shipping department, UPS or Fedex drop box, 3rd party shipping facilities, or any shipping service outside of the US when shipping back your rental. You will almost always incur a late fee by using these methods. If the courier comes late to pickup or loses your package, you will have to pay a late fee and possibly replacement fee as well. A copy of the return instructions can also be found here. If you still have questions, please feel free to contact us.

Until the package is shipped back and shows up in the carrier’s possession, you will be held liable. If the package does not show up as tracked with the carrier, unfortunately you will be liable for the cost to replace the gear, or the late fees once the package begins to track with the carrier. We recommend dropping off your rental to a staffed drop point and securing a receipt as proof.

I Returned My Personal Gear to BorrowLenses
This happens from time to time -- a memory card is left in a camera, or a tripod mount is attached to a lens collar, etc. We'll do our best to get your equipment back to you, but are NOT RESPONSIBLE for anything that is left with a rental, period.

Extending your rental
Please log on to your account and click, "extend order" before your rental. You may also contact us and we'll be glad to help. If there are no other customers waiting in line for your item, we will be happy to extend your rental.  

Please note that in terms of billing, extensions are treated as if they were new orders- the rate will be less expensive for a 2 week rental than it would be for two 1-week rentals.

Early Returns
Yes! If you’ve rented for 4 days or longer, here are your options:  
1. Full store credit in the form of a voucher for all unused days. 
2. Refund to card, minus 25% processing fee (calculated from the remaining day’s total).
