    Advantages of a Mirrorless Camera

Why would you rent mirrorless camera for video rather than a different type of camera, such as DSLR, Cinema RAW or Action? There isn't necessarily an easy answer to this question. Every videographer is going to have his or her own opinion of what type of camera should be used to shoot video. However, there are a lot of advantages that a mirrorless camera can offer:

    • The small stature and lighter weight makes it easier to tote around and use rigs with.
    • Depending on the product, it may be able to film in HD or even 4k.
    • The camera offers a wide range of flexibility because many different kinds of lenses can be adapted to work with the equipment.
    • Some products have outputs for monitors, lights and other accessories used by professionals to help you make sure you get the shots you need.

The software and special features available will vary based on the product you use, which is why many videographers choose to rent their equipment.

    Advantages of Renting

If you are a professional, you may want to have your own equipment on hand. However, if you are a hobbyist or someone looking to get new gear, you may want to try out different cameras before you buy. BorrowLenses has a wide selection of mirrorless cameras for rent.
