The professionals at BorrowLenses know their craft, which is why they make sure to include the important but frequently overlooked equipment pieces in their inventory. This starts with photo calibration & scanner rentals to help professionals and enthusiasts get the most from their camera and output.

    Keep Your Color In Check

Are you shooting in color or black and white? Regardless of how you answered that question, you should still consider a light meter of some sort, especially if you'll be shooting outside or with strong artificial lighting. The meter will help you keep a good balance of light and color so your picture won't need a full scale recoloring in the editing room.

    Don't Forget Your Calibration Card

Your answer to the color versus black and white questions maters when it comes to your color card. The color card contains blocks of key colors so you can properly calibrate your light meter. Most cards have a black and white section as well as a color section. However, if you're shooting in black and white, you can opt for a grey scale card. Additionally, some light meter packages include a calibration card with rental.

    Photo Calibration & Scanner Rentals

Photo calibration isn't necessary in every setting, but it can be particularly helpful when you are experimenting. It's also a savior when the sun and clouds move frequently during your shoot. Maintain a consistent look in your photos without breaking the bank when you rent the scanners you need.

BorrowLenses is committed to providing you with the photo equipment you need to make the most of your project. With the right calibration card and scanner rental, you can give your photos and videos that extra kick they need to make your work stand out.
