He has worked across the world with nonprofits like the Red Cross, the Galapagos Conservancy, and Friends of Plumas Wilderness to share stories of conservation and development. Beyond his freelance career as a director and DP, Matthew has worked at the Advanced Laboratory for Visual Anthropology teaching university students and faculty how to incorporate filmmaking into their scientific research.
