It is designed specifically for full frame FE mount cameras, such as the Sony a7 series, but will also mount on regular E mount cameras, such as the a6500 or E mount Super 35 video cameras, such as the FS7 II. It is a standard portrait lens that sports a fast maximum aperture that is suitable for low light situations for both still and motion shooters. Autofocus is fast thanks to the Super Sonic Wave Motor (SSM) and the physical aperture ring can be de-clicked for super smooth depth of field and exposure transitions while shooting video.
