Description The Glidecam HD4000 is a camera stabilizing system for small-to-large sized camcorders and DSLRs up to 10lbs. This stabilizer is designed to provide smooth, fluid shots during movement. This kit takes some time to set up and calibrate before use, but once you have it properly balanced it's able to produce extremely fluid shots. It takes time to calibrate it and practice is needed in order to achieve smooth movement, but this is a very affordable way to get smooth video when walking/moving with a video camera. The HD4000 is a bit more robust than the HD1000 or HD2000 and supports camera/lens combos weighing up to 10lbs. It is suggested that you get a Body Pod Stabilizer or a Forearm Brace to help distribute the weight and allow you to shoot longer clips without fatigue. This system is upgraded from the HD1000 and HD2000 and offers fine adjustments and an improved gimbal and balance system. |

PRODDK MEDIA: Very useful and handy, normally I have my rig on a shoulder mount or tripod. But with the Glide Cam 4000 we were able to free our self’s from the shoulder mount and tripod. Easy to use and setup, It might take some practice to get your shots stable but once you get the hang of it its downhill from there. FYI if you don't have a vest, strip your camera or rig down, the weight will drag you down with time. I would like to see a combination of Glide Cam with the vest as a rental. Over all the Glide Cam 4000 is very handy and the final shots are just professional.
