Description
Sony's Alpha A55 DSLR is unlike any other camera on the market thanks to its groundbreaking translucent mirror technology. Unlike most cameras that can only do one thing at a time -- shoot, or focus -- the A55 can do both at the same time as there's no mirror assembly that has to move out of the way. This allows it to shoot up to 10fps while maintaining auto-focus, and also allows it to be able to focus while shooting full HD video - a first for any DSLR.

Additional features include an articulating 3" display, very high ISO performance, built-in GPS, multi-frame noise reduction (it takes six frames and then combines them into one shot), and 15-point auto-focus.
