Notes: The Sony Alpha a7R Mirrorless Digital Camera is fully compatible with regular E-Mount lenses when APS-C crop mode is ON. Otherwise, Full Frame E-Mount (FE) lenses are recommended. When in crop mode, the a7 resolution drops to 10MP. We make every attempt to have a fully charged battery for you but we can’t guarantee it 100%. If you need a fully charged battery, please request it via the order notes. The battery charges in the camera through the AC adapter.
The Sony Alpha a7R Mirrorless Digital Camera is small and lightweight, accepts E-Mount lenses, and is full frame. The a7R omits the low-pass filter from its sensor to allow for even more detail in your images. Warning: lack of a low-pass filter may increase artifacts such as moire in your images, especially when shooting screens, fabrics, and hair. In certain circumstances the regular Sony a7 (link to it when live) may be preferred. An enhanced AF system provides 117 points giving the shooter complete control over the areas of their scene they want in focus. Videographers can enjoy uncompressed HDMI video output and external stereo recording capabilities. The multi-interface hot shoe accommodates flashes and hot shoe mics. In APS-C Mode, the a7R can shoot with E-Mount lenses designed for cropped-sensor cameras. Control your a7R through your computer with a USB cable and Remote Capture Control for tethered shooting in the studio. This camera is ideal for photographers and videographers in need of the high quality a full frame sensor offers but in a much lighter and smaller body than what most DSLRs can offer. This is a great option for landscape, still life and product photography (if moire isn’t a concern), wildlife, and street photography.
