This makes the camera respond more quickly and consistently, but also consumes the camera's batteries much more quickly. When disabled, this cable functions identically to the CM-N3. Connect the CM-N3-P to your camera's remote cable socket, and enable your Pocket Wizard radio slave SET to trigger the camera's shutter remotely.
