Nicholas: Careful, you'll poke someone's eye out with the sharp images you'll take with this lens. For DX shooters, this is the closest thing you're going to get to "normal" at an equiv. 52.5mm. Pair this with the 20mm 2.8 as a wide-angle, and the 50mm 1.4 as a portrait and you have a pretty rocking package for the budding prosumer. Had this and the 50 1.8 for a family gathering and found this to be a great piece for chasing my 1 and 3 year old niece and nephew, cranked it open to get enough light to stop the action and got some great shots (one of which grandma and grandpa blew up on a 17x20 canvas). Highly recommended!
