Anna Sullivan: I rented the D300S last September while in Jackson Hole, Grand Teton & Yellowstone National Parks. I love this camera. It was probably a bit more "professional" than I deserved but, I quickly was able to figure things out. It feels great in my hands and I rented the 200-400mm lens to go with it. Great combo. I wish I had requested the D300S booklet but, I didn't know that was possible. I was so happy with this camera I went out and purchased it after my rental experience. But, I'm renting another D300S this September b/c I want two cameras this year and there is no better rental company than Borrowlenses.

michael: This D300s is an exceptional professional camera. It is sturdy, solid-feeling, ergonomic in the hands, yet not a burden to carry for hours on a shoot. It's files are exceptionally clean, even at high ISO's, and thus require much less manipulation in Photoshop to maximize their potential to satisfy the most discriminating of customers. In the week I had it, I was amazed at it's variable dynamic range adjustments: a lot of time post-production would be saved when I master this function. It is a huge step up from my trusty D200, and severely whets my appetite to make the jump.
