Shantanu: An excellent walk around lens. Can't beat the sharpness of a prime, but makes up in full in terms of versatility. A great choice to take on a trip, instead of lugging around a huge bag of different lenses. This lens and perhaps a compact wide angle prime are really all one needs on a day-to-day basis.
