Description
The MB-D12 Multi Power Battery Pack for the D800 and the D800E attaches directly to the bottom of the camera and, when supplied with an extra EN-EL15, provides extended battery power for long-day shooting. It also adds controls for vertical orientation shooting (shutter, AF-ON, and a multi-selector dial) and provides some extra ergonomic bulk to the relatively svelte frame of the D800. When in DX mode, the MB-D12 grip boosts the frame rate from 4 FPS to 6 FPS. It is also sealed for resistance against dust and water.
