Description
The MB-D10 battery grip for the D700 and D300/D300s is designed for one EN-EL3 battery. This little block of plastic and metal can really soup up your photography. For starters, having a vertical grip is something that’s really hard to give up once you’ve used it a few times. The convenience and comfort of being able to shoot in portrait orientation without contorting your arms is addictive. Add to it the fact that you can control the autofocus and exposure settings right from the battery grip and you see why the pros prefer to either shoot with this little attachment or with the bigger bodies like the D3 and D3s, which have these vertical grips built-in. But that’s not all - this is a battery grip, after all, which means that it can hold additional power for those really long shoots.
