Amber: I rented this diffuser to go with the external flash that comes with the wedding rental package. I was VERY pleased with it. I have read many articles about how well this diffuser works but for some reason I wasn't sold. Maybe because it looks a little odd. But honestly, I have never had light this soft EVER. Unless I'm shooting with strobes or soft boxes. I don't have a flash bracket so when I turn my camera vertical to shoot, I get that harsh shadow behind my subjects. Don't get me wrong, It was still there, but the shadow was much softer and much more gentle and pleasing to the eye. I loved the way the light hit my subjects faces. Beautiful. Only problem I had was trying to get the thing on. But perhaps that was operator error since it was my first time using one. Used at a wedding btw.
