TN-Photography: I rented this lens to use for environmental portraits for the healthcare industry. I knew Zeiss were some of the best (if not the best) optics you can put on a camera so I had pretty high expectations. Let me first say that I've shot with various Canon L lenses as well as Hasselblad Digital Set ups so have experience with high end gear. Upon receiving this lens I immediately set up my 7d and did some test stills and video clips using only north facing window light. I was blown away!!! This lens is by far the most outstanding glass I've ever shot through. The resolving power of the optics are out of this world. The bokeh is creamy and nothing short of gorgeous. I needed this lens for a one day shoot for a client, but wound up using it every day that I had it for general shooting and personal work. It brought back the magic and excitement that first attracted me to photography! Rent this lens and then buy it!
