Christopher: Out of the Canon 70-200's this is by far my favorite. You get the size of the F/4 version and the sharpness of the F/2.8 version, it's the best of both worlds with a much cheaper price tag. The AF is super fast and works great when you need it too, coupled with the image stabilization really makes it a true winner. If you are shooting action sports photography or wildlife in the daytime this by far the best choice. The only lens that I prefer to this is the 135 F/2, but if you need a zoom don't hesitate.

Terri: I rented this lens along with the T2i and the 24-70mm 2.8 lens. I had this lens on one camera and the other on my camera. I loved being able to get any shot I wanted with this lens and not have my arm break because of weight. I took outdoor pictures with it so the 4f aprature was perfect. I have rented the 70-200mm 2.8 in the past and it was much heavier and I never shot lower than 4 because of how bright it was outside. The other benefit of this lens is that you are able to get a close up shot without being in the middle of what is going on IE: a wedding. Crisp, Clean, Fast and did what I wanted perfectly! Worked great on my T2i.
