Description
The Canon 500mm f/4 IS II is a marked improvement over the Canon 500 f/4 IS Version I. It is approximately 1.5 lbs lighter, weighing in at a little over 7 lbs and has improved optics, producing sharper images. The focus system features the new Canon Power Focus mode, that allows you to drive the autofocus motor electronically instead of having to use the focus ring. Additional improvements over its predecessor include (3) three image stabilization modes providing a 4-stop shutter speed advantage, better dust and water sealing, and redesigned switches & buttons for a more intuitive operation.
