Description
This telephoto macro lens creates high quality images throughout the focusing distance range from 1x to infinity. Because of the 180mm focal length, life-size close-ups can be taken from a farther distance without disturbing the subject. Three UD-glass elements are present in order to correct any residual chromatic aberrations. Operability is further enhanced through a wide manual focus ring. Another advantage of this lens is its internal focusing feature which does not cause the lens length to change or the front element to rotate.

Alan: I own this lens, have not rented it here. Great lens, perfect for dragonflies and other large insects, but not as sharp as it should be, and lots of flare in high-contrast situations. Compare the Zeiss lenses, they are much sharper and control flare much better.
