Lee: I rented this to use with the Glidecam 4000 for a wedding I shot recently. I almost didn't rent it, but I was very thankful that I did. It has velcro straps to adjust to plenty of arm sizes, but my arm isn't that big, so I had the straps all the way tight and I could still wiggle around a bit. That actually turned out to be a good thing, since I often needed to get it off my arm to do something else, and if I had to un-velcro the straps each time, it would have been a distraction. The brace basically takes the weight of the Glidecam and your camera and distributes it to your whole forearm, rather than putting all the stress on your wrist. If you are thinking you won't need it, please think again. Unless you plan on getting the vest with the stabilizing arm, do your wrist a favor and get this brace. It's only a few bucks extra, and it's worth it if you doing any kind of long-form shooting.
