Glidecam HD2000 Stabilizer System

Glidecam HD2000 Stabilizer System

Description

TheĀ Glidecam HD2000 is a camera stabilizing system for small-to-medium sized camcorders and DSLRs designed to provide smooth, fluid shots during even extreme movement. This kit takes some time to set up and calibrate before use, but once you have it properly balanced it's able to produce extremely fluid shots. It takes time to calibrate it and practice is needed in order to achieve smooth movement, but this is a very affordable way to get smooth video when walking/moving with a video camera.

The HD2000 is a bit more robust than the HD1000, and supports camera/lens combos weighing up to 6lbs.

Ethan: When I picked up this product it was quite beaten up and scratched. Many people warned me before that this would take a few hours to balance and it did. Once it was balanced, I at least never had to do it again. The product was very functional and created stable "flying" shots but the screws for removing the weights were stripped. Overall, The Glidecam did it's job very well but maybe I just got a bad model. Thanks!

William: Very easy to set up and especially easy to use! However, you would do well to also rent a quick release plate system to put on top of it, it will make things easier when needing to take a camera off to use it for something else. If you've never used a stabilizer system, I'm sure you can still recognize the footage. A bit of practice and a couple minutes to balance will give you results that your clients would never expect. Highly recommended.
